For Monday, December 23, the pick is Legg Mason (LM) – a repeat from Week 13 with a 1.24% return in just over a week. With $782 billion in assets and a strong quarterly report, this 120 year old company isn’t going away anytime soon. The current yield is 4.3%

A repeat from Weeks 12, 26 and 39 gets the Tuesday slot – Portland General Electric (POR). With solid returns of 0.76%, 0.76% and 1.5%, we’ll jump in again without hesitation. The current yield is 2.77%.

Markets are closed on the Christmas holiday.

For Thursday, the pick is International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF). This is a position we still have open from Week 25 and continued to hold for Week 38. The current yield is 2.35%.

We’ll finish out the holiday week with Main Street Capital (MAIN) – a repeat from Week 16 that had a 0.63% return in a just a few days. Dividends have been raised for the last eight years and the current yield is 5.67%!
